The woods are lovely, dark and deep but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep. RF

The flowers are beautiful  :)  Are they scented like Mobisu?

The foilage looks very healthy.

I just harvested the first pod of this back-crossed to arborea: some nice fat seeds! I will sow them tomorrow.....

Bees discovered the plants and there seem to be about 30 pods developing, mostly crosses between the pink and yellow siblings..... I hope I can keep them going through summer until they are all ripe!

8 seedlings and more coming up....

This is the first time B. x rubella has succeeded in the garden (the others are all in the shade house). The pic is not very good, but I am hopeful the plant is now established and able to survive the hot summer. For more than a year it did not grow....

The flowers of this B. x rubella are very pretty. Not many white/cream flowering B. x rubella's are around.

I said the pic is not very good   The flowers are pale yellow. I think it may be very similar in appearance to 'Gelber Engel'.

'Gelber Engel' has a nice yellow color, even when it is cool.  A friend gave me this summer a small plant of 'Gelber Engel'. She is budding now.
