B. 'Tantra' x B. aurea

Beitrag von Alistair »

I quite like this. It is very vigorous: more than 6 m tall. The flowers axe very waxy, and mostly horizontal.

Wow, the masses of flowers are breathtaking. They are beautiful.
The B. aurea influence can not be ignored  :) You should have with it a excellent flowering cultivar in your garden.

This plant is very beautiful! I envy you for the climate where these plants just grow in the garden, you do not have to repot them, there is no need to carry them inside the house in winter......

Thanks :D . I have had it for more than 5 years now.

Some Brugmansias really take several years to develop their full branching and flowering habit outside. I think I will name this one...

Alistair, this is a stunning 'Tantra' cross this plant it's blooming mad
This is what im also looking forward to when my 'Tantra' X.aurea(form) Blooms in the spring, I have had it bloom llast year but the flower was just popping out the calyx which was a  creamy color, I had to remove it from the place that i had it & took Trunk cuttings, What a fool!!!!!
I thought it was very nice but took no pic's
